The Student Chapter has set up a Google Group listserv in order to keep students in contact with one another and share information about upcoming events and Student Chapter activities. This list will allow you to contact other students studying invasive species across the state and provide an audience to ask questions pertaining to your research or possible outreach activities. It is also available to non-students who are interested in invasive species research and would like to communicate with current researchers.
You can join the group by going to http://groups.google.com/group/calipc_students and signing in with your Google account.
You must be verified by a manager of the group in order to gain access, so if you area new student interested in invasive plants, please introduce yourself and send an email to students@calipcsc.org.
Cal-IPC also has has two separate listservs established that may be useful for students.
California WeedTalk provides a forum for discussion of invasive plant issues in California. This listserv serves to facilitate information sharing between its members and others concerned about invasive plants that damage the state's ecosystems.
