Weed Management Areas (WMAs)
California Weed Management AreasWeed Management Areas (WMAs) are local organizations that bring together landowners and managers (private, city, county, State, and Federal) in a county or multi-county geographical area to coordinate efforts and expertise against common invasive and noxious weed species.

The Cal-IPC Student Chapter currently works with the Low Desert, Orange County, Los Angeles, and Sacramento Weed Management Areas. As we gather more members across the state we anticipate forming partnerships with more WMAs and assisting with outreach in their area.
