Herbicide Spray School

On September 17, Kris, Kai and I volunteered at an herbicide training day at the Riverside/Corona Resource Conservation District. The program was run by Carl Bell and Milt McGiffen and taught the basics of herbicide safety, how to calculate rates of application, and laws and regulations governing the use of herbicides. There was a hands-on portion of the course where the participants got to use different types of sprayers and tried different methods of herbicide application. They also earned credits towards their herbicide applicator certifications. It was a great experience for everyone!
