Santa Rosa Plateau Bull Thistle Weeding Day

The Cal-IPC Student Chapter spent a day weeding bull thistle (Cirsium vulgare) on the reserve. Heather, Mike, Sarah, Matt, Jason, and Kai worked on a warm spring morning to clear a half acre of thistle from a previous pecan grove. Seedlings will need to be removed in a subsequent weeding day. Santa Rosa Plateau Grassland Experiment

So far so good. Our herbicide treatment plots are showing differences and we are excited by the findings. Here you can see some visual differences in the two treatments.
