Cal-IPC Student Liaison to the Board of Directors

The California Invasive Plant Council would like to have student representation on its Board of Directors, which sets the organization’s vision and many of its activities. Because of constraints on student schedules, we have opted to make student members of the board a liaison position—allowing for one-year terms that coincide with the academic year (terms beginning the 1st of June and ending the 31st of May each year). For this first year, the term will begin after elections are held, and end on May 31st of 2011. Detailed responsibilities for this position are posted at the bottom of this email.
